Canadian Junior Cup announces new partnership with World Financial Group
The Canadian Junior Cup is proud to announce a new partnership with World Financial Group (WFG), which will see the premier junior curling event become the WFG Canadian Junior Cup starting from the 2023 edition.
The WFG Canadian Junior Cup is one of the largest international junior curling competitions, attracting teams from across the globe to compete for the title. The 2023 event will take place from December 28th to December 30th, 2023, at the Oshawa Curling Club in Oshawa, ON. The highest placing Canadian team will have the opportunity to attend the Swiss Cup in Switzerland in 2024.
Grant Cowan, chair of the WFG Canadian Junior Cup, is thrilled about the new partnership, saying, "We are excited to welcome World Financial Group as our new partner. This partnership will allow us to provide a platform for the next generation of curling champions, while also promoting grass roots initiatives in the sport."
WFG has signed on as the sponsor until the end of the 2025/2026 season, offering their support to the growth of the sport and the development of the next generation of curling champions.
